BYD Ti7's Appearance, a Hybrid SUV Potentially Coming to Indonesia

KatadataOTO – The Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) with plug-in hybrid technology, also known as PHEV, the BYD Ti7, was officially introduced to the Southeast Asian market at the Bangkok Motor Expo 2025, Thailand.

This officially makes the BYD Ti7 a global product, not just exclusively marketed in China. In its home country, the model is part of the Fang Cheng Bao sub-brand.

The BYD Ti7 is an SUV equipped with a 1,500 cc engine combined with hybrid technology; its battery is a 35.6 kWh LFP or Lithium Iron Phosphate.

Its gasoline engine produces 154 hp, supplemented by two electric motors with a power of 360 kW or equivalent to 483 hp, delivered to all wheels through a Four-Wheel Drive or 4WD system.

This SUV is large, capable of accommodating up to five passengers with a 5-seater configuration.

The BYD Ti7 has a length of nearly five meters, precisely 4,999 mm. Its width is 1,995 mm, while its height is 1,865 mm.

For a rough comparison, this model is larger than the GWM Tank 300 Hybrid, which has a similar shape with L x W x H dimensions of 4,760 mm x 1,930 mm x 1,903 mm.

It has a boxy design with attractive color options. On the grille, the Ti7 does not use a BYD emblem but a silver-colored Fang Cheng Bao one.
