KatadataOTO – Various electric cars are taking part in the IIMS 2025 exhibition. One of them is BYD Sealion 7.

This EV (Electric Vehicle) is claimed to offer a safer, more comfortable, and futuristic driving experience.

“We believe that everyone deserves to feel peace of mind, knowing that the vehicle they own and use daily is equipped with the latest safety innovations,” said Luther T. Panjaitan, Head of Public & Government Relations at BYD Motor Indonesia at JIExpo Kemayoran, Jakarta recently.

Furthermore, the electric four-wheeled vehicle offers a sporty look. This is thanks to the sharp lines across its body.

It also has a very modern impression. This is due to the inclusion of an LED lighting system in the main headlights.

Additionally, the BYD Sealion 7 features an Avant-garde Dynamic Front Face and Ocean-X Face concept. Meanwhile, the rear lights are shaped like water droplets.

It looks even more dashing thanks to the inclusion of 20-inch dual-tone alloy wheels for the performance variant, and 19-inch wheels for the premium type.

Moving to the interior, there is a Floating-Styled Interior Design concept, combined with a 15.6-inch rotating head unit.

This allows the driver and passengers to easily access various features within, such as navigation, and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity systems.

On the other hand, to support driver comfort, ergonomic and sporty front seats are available. They are equipped with ventilation to prevent heat during daytime driving.

In terms of powertrain, the BYD Sealion 7 performance type relies on an electric motor with a power output of 522 hp and a peak torque of 690 Nm.

Meanwhile, the premium type carries an electric motor with 267 hp and 380 Nm of torque. It also has a range of up to 567 km on a single charge.

The BYD Sealion 7 is also equipped with various modern safety features. Starting from the VCU (Vehicle Control Unit), BMS (Battery Management System), MCU (Motor Control Unit), PDU (Power Distribution Unit) to the DC-DC controller.
