Chery Opens New Concept Dealer in Bekasi, the Largest in Jabodetabek

KatadataOTO – PT CSI (Chery Sales Indonesia) is expanding its dealer network in Indonesia by opening a new outlet, namely Chery Arta Bekasi Barat.

Just like the dealer in Puri Indah, it already uses a new international standard concept, occupying a larger area and having 3S (Sales, Sparepart, Service) status.

This is the 47th Chery outlet to be officially opened and is the largest in the Jabodetabek (Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, Bekasi) area.

The choice of location in Kranji, West Bekasi is said to be one of the strategies to reach more consumers in Bekasi City and its surroundings.

“This new dealer will play an important role in meeting the mobility needs of the people of Bekasi and its surroundings, presenting a range of stylish, tough-performing, and efficient premium Chery SUVs (Sport Utility Vehicles),” said Rifkie Setiawan, Head of Brand Department at PT CSI in Bekasi,

It was further explained that Chery Arta Bekasi Barat occupies a land area of 2,365 m2 while the building area is 2,337 m2.

The dealer is also said to be ready to handle Chery's entire current vehicle lineup, including the Omoda E5 and J6 electric cars.

On the same occasion, Chery also carried out a handover ceremony for the J6 electric car unit to its first customer at the new dealer.

“We are confident that this partnership will provide long-term value not only for our business growth but also provide better vehicle protection for consumers in Indonesia,” said Wilson Suryahusada, CEO of Arta Motor Group on the same occasion.

Customers can have their vehicles serviced at the Chery dealer Arta Bekasi Barat, as there are 10 service bays and a special area for electric cars. Additionally, there is a 300 m2 spare parts room.

“We are proud that this dealer is the largest in Jabodetabek, as well as the first to use the latest dealer design from Chery International,” said Wilson.

Chery Arta Bekasi Barat will present consumers with various vehicle lineups ranging from the Omoda 5, E5, J6 to the latest Chery Tiggo 8 CSH (Chery Super Hybrid) model.

Consumers need not worry because all technicians there have been equipped with the knowledge and certification to handle electrified vehicles, including PHEVs (Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicles).
