KatadataOTO – Ford officially opened its newest dealer in the Pantai Indah Kapuk area, also known as PIK 2, not long ago.

This step represents Ford's commitment to reach more consumers and strengthen its presence in potential regions.

PIK 2 was chosen because it is a strategic location, with easy access, a growing business area, and supported by modern infrastructure.

"The opening of Ford PIK 2 reflects our commitment to continuously develop Ford's business sustainably in Indonesia," said Roelof Lamberts, Regional Director RMA Indonesia in an official statement, quoted on Friday (01/30).

"With a strategic location and integrated facilities, this dealer will expand Ford's service reach while supporting sustainable sales growth," said Erik Pascanugraha, Sales Director Ford RMA Indonesia.

He emphasizes that Ford PIK 2 is designed to deliver a modern experience that is relevant to customers' needs in the country.

Ford PIK 2 is the result of a collaboration between Ford Global, RMA Group, RMA Indonesia together with dealer partner PT Trijaya Auto Mandiri or TOM Dealers.

The dealer also adopts new standards, uses the latest Corporate Identity, and offers comprehensive service for all customers.

It is hoped that the Ford dealer PIK 2 can strengthen customer trust and drive positive contributions as well as sustainable business growth.

For information, Ford offers a range of products focused on the Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) segment such as Everest, Ranger and Ranger Raptor.

Some time ago Ford also introduced one of its sports car lines, the Mustang Ecoboost.
In Indonesia as of January 2026, the total number of official Ford dealers in the country is 34 outlets. This includes 3S (Sales, Service, Sparepart) and 2S (Service & Sparepart) dealers.

Ford also plans to invest in Indonesia over the long term. Previously there were reports that Ford would carry out local vehicle assembly in Indonesia.

However, no official information has been provided by Ford regarding local passenger car assembly.

Ford vehicles in Indonesia are still in Completely Built Up (CBU) status, imported whole from Thailand. Meanwhile the Ford Mustang Ecoboost is brought directly from the United States.
