Chery Tiggo Cross Price Revealed at IIMS 2025, Below Honda WR-V

KatadataOTO –  The Chery Tiggo Cross was officially launched at IIMS 2025 today, Thursday (13/2). This is one of several new models that will be introduced by PT CSI (Chery Sales Indonesia) in the country throughout 2025.

This car is offered at a competitive price for the first 1,000 customers, with a price of Rp 239.5 million for the Comfort type. Meanwhile, the highest variant, the Premium, is priced at Rp 269.5 million.

Compared to the highest variant of a similar model in its class, like the Honda WR-V, there is a price difference of over Rp 60 million, with the WR-V being more expensive than the Chery Tiggo Cross. 

The features and design offered are also increasingly capable, including 15 ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System) functions and up to six airbags.

“This is a special price for the first 1,000 customers,” said Budi Darmawan, Sales Director of PT CSI at JIExpo Kemayoran, Thursday (12/2).

For your information, the Chery Tiggo Cross has a modern design with its signature Biometric Tiger Face, which is claimed to be an interpretation of a tiger's face on the car's fascia.

So at a glance, although it is similar to the Tiggo 5X, its appearance is more elegant and it still maintains its compact dimensions.

Compared to the Tiggo 5X, the Tiggo Cross has smaller headlamps, adding to the compact SUV's sporty impression. However, the grille still has the same diamond pattern.

Another differentiator is the taillight design, as this time it includes an LED bar that connects the two rear lights on the tailgate.

Furthermore, the taillights are not plain but have a unique pattern called Tiger Stripe, or tiger stripes, as the new identity of the Tiggo Cross.

PT CSI still has various vehicle lines in the SUV segment this year, and for the first time, Chery will enter the hybrid lineup with the Tiggo 8 PHEV and Tiggo 9 PHEV.

Although similar, Chery believes the Tiggo Cross will complement the Tiggo series and will not replace the Tiggo 5X.
