KatadataOTO – Chery Tiggo Cross has received a positive response from the public. This is proven by the large number of vehicle orders even though the new car was displayed at the Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) 2025.
Since its launch, Chery Tiggo Cross has recorded more than 500 Vehicle Order Letters (SPK). This shows that the model has successfully met the public's mobility needs.
“This SUV combines a futuristic design, abundant safety features, and the best price,” said Mohamad Ilham Pratama, Head of Marketing at PT Chery Sales Indonesia in his official statement (25/02).
He also confirmed that the units will be sent to the entire Chery dealer network in the country after the IIMS 2025 event. Thus, the public can soon see their newest model.
It should be noted that the Chery Tiggo Cross comes with a modern look thanks to the use of a Biometric Tiger Face. This look is claimed to be inspired by a tiger's face, giving it a bold impression.
At a glance, its appearance is indeed similar to the Tiggo 5X which was launched earlier. However, the manufacturer made a few differences in several parts.
One of the most easily noticeable differences is the smaller headlamp size, which adds to the sporty impression. However, the grille still has the same diamond pattern.
Another differentiator is the taillight design, as this time there is an additional LED bar connecting the two rear lights on the tailgate.
Furthermore, the taillights are not plain but have a unique pattern called Tiger Stripe, or tiger stripes, as the new identity of the Tiggo Cross.
The Chery Tiggo Cross is available in Indonesia in two variants: Comfort and Premium. Customers are also entitled to a 10-year/1,000,000 km engine warranty, a 70 percent Buy Back Guarantee, a 6-year/150,000 km warranty, free maintenance service for 4 years/60,000 km, and an Extra Care package worth Rp 4 million to purchase a spare parts package for 3 years or 30,000 km.
