Daihatsu posted positive sales results in November 2025, with the Gran Max Series being the main contributor.
KatadataOTO – PT Astra Daihatsu Motor (ADM) announced positive retail sales achievements (distribution from dealers to consumers) of 12,750 units. This figure is claimed to be a five percent increase from October's 12,196 units.
Throughout the second half of 2025, Daihatsu sales in November 2025 were the highest in terms of retail.
Daihatsu's commercial vehicle, the Gran Max Pick Up, sold 4,468 units while the Mini Bus variant sold 2,519 units.
Both models from the Gran Max series were recorded to contribute around 55 percent of total sales, an increase of two percent from the previous month.
Besides commercial vehicles, the Low Cost Green Car (LCGC) category, which includes the Ayla and Sigra, also contributed 3,394 units or 27 percent of Daihatsu's total retail sales.
“We would like to thank you for the positive response from Daihatsu customers, especially in the low commercial, LCGC, and SUV segments,” said Sri Agung Handayani, Marketing and Corporate Communication Director of PT ADM in an official broadcast, quoted on Saturday (06/12).
Agung revealed that this achievement is also an important step towards Daihatsu's 17th year in the second position of national automotive sales.
“This is inseparable from the trust of Daihatsu customers in Indonesia, both as a companion in daily activities and for business,” Agung affirmed.
Towards the end of the year, Daihatsu continues to offer various purchasing programs to make it easier for consumers to buy new vehicles.
Daihatsu's participation in the Astra Auto Fest is one of them. Potential buyers can directly try the test drive units in the exhibition area at Astra Biz Center, BSD City, Tangerang until December 7, 2025.
This includes Daihatsu's newest product, the Rocky Hybrid. The model was previously introduced at the GIIAS 2025 event.
The Rocky Hybrid is Daihatsu's first electrified model for Indonesian consumers. The price is quite competitive at around Rp 299 million on the road in Jakarta.
The hybrid car is currently still a Completely Built Up (CBU) unit, or fully imported from Japan. Unit deliveries have started since November 2025.
