Consider This Before Buying a New Car at GJAW 2025

Josua said that GJAW 2025 visitors must set a budget limit before visiting the Toyota, Daihatsu, and BYD booths.

A maximum of 1/3 if your income is stable and cash reserves are strong. A healthy down payment is in the range of 30 to 40 percent of the on-the-road price.

He also advises people to choose a loan tenor of four to five years. This limit keeps the residual value risk and interest burden under control.

"It also provides breathing room if living costs rise or income falls," Josua continued.

Second, GJAW 2025 visitors must calculate the total cost of ownership. So it's not just about the vehicle installments.

Besides installments, calculate comprehensive insurance at around two to three percent of the car's price per year, vehicle tax, regular servicing, tires, battery, parking, and tolls.
