KatadataOTO – Daihatsu sales in January 2025 recorded a figure of 11,305 units. This number was enough to place them in the second position as the second-largest manufacturer in Indonesia, capturing 17.7 percent of the total market.
However, it cannot be denied that these sales are much lower than the achievement in the same period last year. In January 2024, Daihatsu recorded a figure of 16,976 units.
Not only that, their achievement in December 2024 was also quite large at 13,201 units. This sharp correction must certainly be a special note for the company.
Daihatsu's January 2025 sales were supported by their three main models: Sigra, Gran Max Pick Up, and Ayla. These three models are claimed to have received a quite positive response from the public.
In the data provided by the company, the Daihatsu Sigra was recorded to have achieved sales of 3,467 units. This number contributed 31 percent of the company's total sales.
Then, the Daihatsu Gran Max Pick Up was successfully delivered to customers, totaling 3,155 units. This figure accounts for 28 percent of Daihatsu's total sales in January 2025.
Meanwhile, the Daihatsu Ayla was recorded to have sold 1,303 units, or about 12 percent of the company's total sales.
Unfortunately, Daihatsu did not specify the sales figures for other models.
“We would like to thank our customers for their trust, allowing Daihatsu to start the beginning of 2025 with good sales. We are committed to providing the best offers and services to our customers,” said Tri Mulyono, Marketing and Customer Relations Division Head of PT Astra International Tbk. Daihatsu Sales Operation in a press release some time ago.
Thanks to this program, it is hoped that the public will be more interested in getting a vehicle unit that suits their respective needs and desires.
