KatadataOTO – Daihatsu sales in July 2025 showed quite good results. Last month, they managed to record positive results for both the retail and wholesale markets.

Based on Gaikindo data, Daihatsu managed to record retail sales of 11,220 units throughout July 2025, equivalent to 17.9 percent of the total market. This number is an increase compared to the previous month, which was only 10,001 units.

Meanwhile, wholesales also experienced growth, as in July the manufacturer successfully sent 10,451 units to dealers, capturing 17.2 percent of the market. This number is also higher than the previous month, which only reached 9,356 units.

“We would like to thank our customers for their trust, which has allowed Daihatsu to start the second half of this year with positive results, namely an increase in market share,” said Sri Agung Handayani, Marketing Director and Corporate Communication Director of PT Astra Daihatsu Motor in a press release.

The high demand, especially in retail sales, is inseparable from the high demand for four main models. The Gran Max Pick Up sold 3,872 units, followed by the Sigra with 2,822 units delivered to customers, the Gran Max Mini Bus with 1,357 units, and the Terios with 1,314 units.

Sri Agung Handayani also revealed that Daihatsu is currently focused on maintaining sales. They believe that most people still want cars at an affordable price.

“Most of our people prefer to buy affordable cars, around Rp 300 million. The contribution of this segment is close to 50 percent of the Indonesian automotive market, and Daihatsu contributes 34.5 percent,” she added.

To maintain this positive record in the coming months, Daihatsu will be more aggressive in offering promotions. One of them is the 'Independence Celebration: Happy from the Start' program.

In this program, held from July 1 to September 30, 2025, customers are eligible to participate in a lottery program. It includes a Grand Prize of 1 modified Gran Max Taft Guy car, 9 motorcycles, 9 gold pieces, and 45 shopping vouchers.
