KatadataOTO – Astra Daihatsu Motor (ADM) is once again taking advantage of the GIIAS 2025 momentum. This manufacturer is giving a refresh to one of its products.

The Daihatsu Sigra has a fresher look. The product is being marketed at the exhibition at ICE BSD, Tangerang.

The update is not applied to all variants. But only for the Daihatsu Sigra 1.2R Deluxe.

Now, the four-wheeled vehicle is sportier and more exclusive for consumers in the country.

“We hope the model we specially designed for this highest variant can be a suitable choice for Indonesian families,” said Tri Mulyono, Marketing & Customer Relation Division Head, PT Astra International Tbk - Daihatsu Sales Operation at GIIAS 2025, on Tuesday (29/07).

Tri revealed that the latest Daihatsu Sigra 1.2R Deluxe is available in two transmission options at GIIAS 2025.

The first is automatic (A/T) and manual (M/T). So it can be adjusted to the needs of consumers in Indonesia.

Then, the most noticeable refresh on the Daihatsu Sigra is in its appearance, especially the front section.

The front bumper design with a connecting line between the fog lamp covers makes it look bolder.

There is also an additional bezel on the rear bumper of the Daihatsu Sigra which gives a fresh and dynamic impression.

Daihatsu also added a 'dlx' emblem on the side of the body. This refresh reinforces its status as the highest variant with the most complete features.

Meanwhile, other parts remain unchanged. Like the mechanical heart sector, it still retains the 3NR-VE coded engine with a 1,200 cc capacity, 4-cylinder Dual VVT-i.

It is claimed to be able to produce a maximum power of up to 87 hp at 6,000 rpm and a peak torque of 108 Nm at 4,200 rpm.

If you intend to own one, the price of the Daihatsu Sigra 1.2R Deluxe M/T is Rp 174.4 million.

Meanwhile, the A/T or automatic variant is priced at Rp 189.2 million. That amount is already On The Road (OTR) Jakarta.

425 Thousand Units Already Sold

On the other hand, Daihatsu has been able to reap sweet results in terms of Sigra sales in the country in recent years.

This is proven by the sales of this LCGC car, which has sold 425 thousand units over the last nine years.

Thanks to the achievement above, the Daihatsu Sigra has successfully become one of the most enjoyed vehicles by consumers in the country.
