KatadataOTO – Daihatsu has successfully received a positive response from the public in the city of Cirebon, West Java. This is proven by the large number of cars they release to the market each month.

In fact, in the period from January to July 2025, their market share is claimed to have grown. Of course, this achievement is a positive result.

“This year, Daihatsu's market share in Cirebon has grown to 18 percent, whereas in the same period last year, we only achieved 17 percent,” said Arief.

This achievement is inseparable from the number of units sold each month. Arief revealed that they can sell around 115 units each month.

Thanks to this, Daihatsu has become the second best-selling car brand in the city of Cirebon.

The high number of Daihatsu sales is inseparable from customer trust in the cars they release. This is certainly quite difficult for new brands to compete with.

Besides having models that meet driving needs, Daihatsu also has a fairly extensive network in Indonesia. So customers don't have to worry if they experience problems when traveling out of town.

What Daihatsu has achieved is in line with national sales. Based on Gaikindo data, the company's retail sales are still in the second position of the best-selling manufacturers in the country.

In the last seven months, Daihatsu's sales were 77,936 units, or 17.2 percent of the total national market. Unfortunately, that figure is actually still below their sales in the same period last year, which recorded 103,223 units.

Nevertheless, Daihatsu continues to strive to increase sales, especially in this second semester. One way is by offering various sales promos to keep vehicle sales high.

One of them is the Gebyar Merdeka program which is valid nationally. In it, Daihatsu gives prospective customers the chance to win lottery prizes in the form of one Gran Max Taft Guy unit, nine Honda BeATs, nine pieces of precious metal, and 45 shopping vouchers worth Rp 2 million and Rp 1 million.

The program is expected to attract customer interest in making purchases and boost the national automotive market.
