KatadataOTO – The high-performance car from BYD's premium sub-brand, the Denza Z9 GT, is strongly believed to be officially sold in Indonesia soon. For your information, the model was previously exhibited at IIMS (Indonesia International Motor Show) 2025.

Although BYD has not provided a definite launch time for the new product from Denza, salespeople have already started offering units to interested consumers.

Based on KatadataOTO's investigation on Thursday (22/05), the Denza Z9 GT is likely to debut at the GIIAS (Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show) 2025 event.

“It’s about to be launched, but it can already be ordered,” said a BYD salesperson when contacted by KatadataOTO on Thursday.

“The booking fee is around Rp 50 million. The unit will be launched in July,” said the salesperson.

The Denza Z9 GT attracted the attention of exhibition visitors by showcasing one of its flagship features, the crab walk, which allows the model to move diagonally or sideways.
