KatadataOTO – BYD Indonesia has finally officially introduced their premium sub-brand, Denza. Along with that, the Denza D9 was launched as its first product in Indonesia.
Carrying the concept of Elegance Reimagined, Denza combines elegant design, innovative technology, and performance. Thus, it can provide greener mobility.
The Denza D9 itself was first launched in 2022 in its home country of China. Then in the following year, the electric MPV became the best-selling in China.
The technology embedded in the unit includes Three Electric Motors, Real Wheel Steering, CTB (Cell to Body), and VMC (Vehicle Motion Control). This combination offers superior performance in all driving conditions.
It is also equipped with the DiSus-C and DiSus-A active shock absorption system. This innovation makes the vehicle maximally comfortable and dynamic on all terrains.
Then for the driver, a smart assistance feature called Denza Pilot has been embedded. Supported by LiDAR (Light Detection and Ranging), it makes the journey safer and more intuitive.
The presence of sensors and a number of cameras on the car not only helps the driver on the highway but is also useful when parking in tight spots.
“We believe Indonesia is a market that is developing well in adopting electric vehicles. Supported by progressive regulations from the Indonesian government, Denza is committed to building a New Energy Vehicles ecosystem,” said Eagle Zhao at the launch of the Denza D9.
Born as an MPV, the Denza D9 has a boxy shape with smooth and elegant curves. The exterior appearance of the vehicle gives a very luxurious and premium impression.
