KatadataOTO – Polytron has finally officially launched their electric car. The product immediately caught attention.

One of them is Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita, the Minister of Industry (Menperin). He was impressed by the presence of the Polytron G3.

"It's really cool, very luxurious (the Polytron electric car G3)," Agus told KatadataOTO when met in Jakarta, Tuesday (06/05).

Agus even compared this electric vehicle (EV) with other products. According to him, the four-wheeled electric vehicle is no less captivating.

Because it has the latest quality and features. Thus, it can compete in the domestic electric car market.

"This is better, better than what I have tried abroad," Agus Gumiwang continued.

Furthermore, Agus appreciated Polytron's efforts in successfully presenting an environmentally friendly four-wheeled vehicle in the country.

Thus adding another electric car option for people who want to switch from conventional vehicles.

"I'm speaking honestly, so we should be proud that the nation's children can produce an electric vehicle like this, it's very good," the Minister of Industry affirmed.

For your information, the Polytron electric car is sold in two variants, namely the G3 and G3+.

Then, this Indonesian company also offers the unit with a subscription system scheme or outright purchase.

It should be noted that the Polytron G3 carries an SUV (Sport Utility Vehicle) concept, using the Skyworth EV K base which has already been on the road in Singapore

Meanwhile, when discussing its range, the product can travel up to 402 kilometers on a single charge (CLTC).

The maximum speed of the Polytron G3 reaches 150 km per hour. On paper, it can go from zero to 100 km per hour in just 9.6 seconds.

The Polytron EV carries an LFP (Lithium Ferro Phosphate) battery with a capacity of 51.916 kWh. It is then paired with an electric motor with a power of 150 kW or the equivalent of 201.1 hp and a peak torque of 320 Nm.

In terms of dimensions, the Polytron G3 has a length of 4,720 mm, a width of 1,908 mm, and a height of 1,696 mm. The wheelbase is around 2,800 mm.
