KatadataOTO – Honda Sales 2024 dropped quite significantly compared to last year's achievement. This is evident from the data released by the company to the media.

Throughout the year, Honda's retail sales recorded 103,023 units, a decrease of 24,987 units compared to last year's achievement. At that time, the Japanese manufacturer achieved sales of 128,010 units.

Meanwhile, for wholesales, Honda recorded a figure of 94,742 units, a decline of 44,225 units from the same period last year, which reached 138,967 units.

Nevertheless, Honda's achievement is still considered good as they managed to maintain their position as the third best-selling manufacturer in Indonesia.

“Throughout 2024, the motor vehicle industry faced challenges with a decline in sales figures. We are grateful that thanks to consumer demand, Honda was able to maintain its third position in the national automotive market,” said Yusak Billy, Sales & Marketing & After Sales Director of PT Honda Prospect Motor.

Throughout 2024, the Honda Brio remained the company's backbone, shipping 53,913 units or 52.3 percent of total sales. That figure is 2,714 units less than the 2023 achievement of 56,627 units.

Despite successfully becoming the market leader in its segment, Honda HR-V sales still dropped quite significantly. The model recorded retail sales of 17,865 units, which is 6,871 units lower than the previous figure of 24,736 units.

Pressure was also seen on the Honda WR-V, which achieved retail sales of 13,820 units. This figure is considered small because last year the model was able to record 18,046 units, or 4,226 more than now.

Meanwhile, the Honda BR-V experienced a significant decline, shipping only 11,098 units to customers. That figure is 7,006 units less than last year's achievement of 18,104 units.

Then, the Honda CR-V sold 3,138 units, whereas last year the number was 1,582 units higher at 4,720 units.

For the Honda Civic, sales were 797 units, while last year it was 901 units. Other Honda models concluded with sales records of 2,392 units.
