Hybrid Car Prices March 2025, Santa Fe Up by Rp 20 Million

KatadataOTO – After the government incentive was implemented, a number of manufacturers adjusted hybrid car prices. This applies to models that have been registered and meet the criteria for receiving the subsidy.

It should be noted, the government incentive is indeed smaller than for electric cars, at three percent. However, this is claimed to be enough to make hybrid car prices more competitive.

For example, the Toyota Kijang Innova Zenix HEV. Due to the subsidy, the price of one of its types dropped by up to Rp 17 million, while other brands like Suzuki lowered the price of the Ertiga by Rp 3 million.

But the South Korean manufacturer, Hyundai, instead raised the price of the Santa Fe Hybrid. The lowest Prime type increased by Rp 18 million, and the Calligraphy variant by Rp 20 million.

The Santa Fe Hybrid is indeed locally assembled. However, Hyundai has not yet registered the model for the incentive program.

In addition, there is a newcomer in the form of a PHEV (Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle), the CX-80. Its price is Rp 1.19 billion, not much different from the CX-60 which is equipped with mild hybrid technology.
