KatadataOTO – Hyundai has confirmed that the Palisade Hybrid suspension issue occurring in the United States does not affect units in Indonesia. Therefore, the public is expected to remain calm when using the model.

Hyundai Motors Indonesia had even confirmed this with the principal before officially bringing the Palisade to the country.

“We have been actively monitoring and ensuring that units in Indonesia are not affected by the case in the United States. So, Hyundai Palisade Hybrid users need not worry,” said Wahyu Kusuma Danny, Head of Product at HMID (13/06).

Hyundai has also provided various programs to create peace of mind for its customers. This includes free service for 3 years or 60,000 km.

The manufacturer has also provided a vehicle warranty for 3 years or 100,000 km. Additionally, there is a battery guarantee for 8 years or 160,000 km.

It was previously reported that Hyundai is facing a lawsuit from its customers in California, United States. The car is said to have several issues, particularly with the rear suspension.

According to Carscoops, dozens of customers have been complaining about this for a long time. Some cars have even experienced damage after traveling only 20,000 miles (32,186 km).

They mention that the ride in the rear has become very harsh, uneven, and is often accompanied by leaking rear shocks.

However, this damage is only felt on the higher-end variants equipped with self-leveling suspension. This system allows the car's height to remain stable even when on uneven roads, thereby increasing driving comfort.

Additionally, there are also complaints regarding the ABS brakes and traction control in the 2023 to 2025 Palisade models. Customers have experienced malfunctions that could potentially cause the vehicle to skid when braking on rough or uneven surfaces.

However, the damage does not significantly impact driving comfort, so it has received less attention from owners.
