KatadataOTO – The electric car Hyundai Kona Electric is one of the Electric Vehicle (EV) models presented at GJAW 2025. This model was previously launched in 2024.

However, this product faces stiff competition from various other models from China. To attract customers, purchases of the Hyundai Kona Electric at GJAW 2025 come with a discount program.

According to a salesperson at ICE BSD, Tangerang, there is a discount available for the purchase of certain types of the Hyundai Kona Electric during the GJAW 2025 event.

“For the purchase of a Hyundai Kona Electric N Line, there is a discount of Rp 150 million,” said a Hyundai salesperson when met at ICE BSD, Tangerang, recently.

According to him, the discount for Hyundai electric cars is quite large due to the tight competition with new product lines from China.

Furthermore, the increasing number of electrified vehicles, both pure electric and hybrid, adds more options for consumers.

“We (Hyundai) are getting hit hard by Chinese cars (at GJAW 2025),” said the Hyundai salesperson.

Therefore, Hyundai is offering attractive promos during GJAW 2025. The hope is to help boost sales figures towards the end of the year.

For your information, the Hyundai Kona Electric N Line, which is getting a price cut at GJAW 2025, is one of the variants in the Kona Electric series.

In terms of technical specifications, it is still the same as the standard variant. But the exterior is made sportier with an ‘N’ touch.

There are various N Line logos or emblems placed in several areas, such as the center of the wheels and the front of the vehicle. There is also a spoiler component to enhance the sporty impression of the Kona Electric.
