KatadataOTO – PT Hyundai Motors Indonesia (HMID) has their first used car buying and selling service in Southeast Asia, Hyundai Promise which was launched in July 2025.

This facility makes it easier for consumers who want to own a used Hyundai car in prime condition, which has gone through an inspection process.

“For consumers who want to buy a car that feels (like) a new car but at a more affordable price, the program is Hyundai Promise,” said Fransiscus Soerjopranoto, Chief Operating Officer of PT HMID in Jakarta.

Hyundai Solusi Mobilitas or HMS, as part of PT HMID, presents a lineup of used vehicles with official warranties from Hyundai Global.

The service targets various customer segments such as first-time car buyers and young families.

The models offered are also varied and not limited to gasoline-engine cars, but also include Battery Electric Vehicles (BEV) like the Kona Electric, Ioniq 6, and Ioniq 5.

“Every Ioniq 5 unit at HSM is guaranteed to have a battery State of Health (SoH) of 95-100 percent,” said Wahyu Seto, General Manager of Hyundai Solusi Mobilitas on the same occasion.

Therefore, consumers can still feel safe using an electric car, plus there is a warranty that is valid for the second owner.

Additional advantages include a one-year extended warranty program and 24-hour emergency services.

Specifically for the battery component, Hyundai Ioniq 5 owners still get the factory warranty for eight years or up to a mileage of 160,000 kilometers.

Prospective Hyundai electric car users do not need to worry about infrastructure because there are more than 600 charging station points throughout Indonesia.

This does not include the electric charging station units located at Hyundai dealerships.

Meanwhile, for the purchase of a Stargazer and Creta, there is an additional one-year extended warranty and one free service.

“With a diverse choice of models and official Hyundai benefits, consumers can find a vehicle that suits their needs without sacrificing safety or quality,” Seto affirmed.

The HSM Yard is located at Grand ITC Permata Hijau. A number of selected used Hyundai cars are available for prospective customers to view directly.
