KatadataOTO – The all-new Hyundai Palisade Hybrid has been officially launched with prices starting from IDR 1.105 billion. Its presence is believed to be a new option for Indonesians who want a premium SUV that is also environmentally friendly.

This is because Hyundai Motors Indonesia is not offering an ICE version but is focusing solely on the hybrid variant. Therefore, it is expected that its fuel efficiency will be more optimal.

“With hybrid technology, drivers can still enjoy the engine sound and high performance,” said Ju Hun Lee, President Director of PT HMID, during the launch (13/06).

In terms of appearance, the Hyundai Palisade Hybrid still maintains a sporty impression. However, a modern feel is more pronounced due to the hidden-type LED Daytime Running Light (DRL).

Its dimensions are also quite large, with a length of 5,065 mm, a width of 1,980 mm, a height of 1,805 mm, and a wheelbase of 2,970 mm.

Entering the cabin, comfort is the focus of Hyundai's development. This is because the car is equipped with attractively designed seats and features heated and ventilated seats in the first and second rows.

To accompany customers while driving, Hyundai has provided a 12.3-inch screen that can connect to a smartphone. This allows customers to continue enjoying several important features on their mobile phones.

Additionally, Hyundai has installed a Bose Premium Sound System. This feature consists of 14 speakers and an external amplifier to provide an audio quality that pampers the ears.

“One of the advantages of the Hyundai Palisade Hybrid is the In-car fingerprint authentication. Thanks to this, the engine will only start with a fingerprint that has been stored in the vehicle,” said Wahyu Kusuma Danny, Head of Product at HMID.

The Hyundai Palisade Hybrid is equipped with a 2,497 cc Smartstream Turbo Hybrid engine capable of producing 329 hp and 460 Nm of torque. This power is channeled to the wheels through a six-speed automatic transmission.
