KatadataOTO – At the Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) 2025, each manufacturer is striving to increase its sales figures. This includes Hyundai, which is offering various conveniences for visitors.

The results were quite good, as during the exhibition, the South Korean manufacturer managed to record 2,012 vehicle orders. This figure was supported by three main models: Stargazer, Stargazer X, and Creta.

“We greatly appreciate the enthusiasm of customers and visitors at IIMS 2025 for their support of Hyundai,” said Fransiscus Soerjopranoto, Chief Operating Officer of PT Hyundai Motors Indonesia in his press release (26/02).

In addition to recording good orders, visitor interest in test drives was also quite high. Impressively, they managed to record 1,700 sessions conducted throughout the exhibition.

Of that number, the Hyundai Santa Fe was the most popular model for test drives.
“We are also grateful for the high participation of visitors in trying our test drive services. This is proof of the public's interest in Hyundai products,” Fransiscus Soerjopranoto then affirmed.

Presenting a New Model

Not just selling vehicles, Hyundai also used IIMS 2025 as a venue to launch its newest product, the Venue. The car falls into the Compact SUV segment and targets the youth market.

Therefore, the car has been designed to look sporty yet luxurious with a chrome-plated grille. The South Korean manufacturer also added Projector LED headlights equipped with Daytime Running Lights (DRL) to ensure optimal lighting in all situations.

Inside the cabin, the Hyundai Venue is made to feel spacious thanks to legroom reaching 1,040 mm in the first row and 905 mm in the second row. For entertainment, the car is equipped with an 8-inch display screen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

The heart of the Hyundai Venue is a 1,000 cc Turbo GDI engine. The power output is quite substantial, at 118 hp at 6,000 rpm and a maximum torque of 172 Nm at 1,500-4,000 rpm.

This performance is then channeled to the two front wheels through a 7-Speed Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT). To adapt the driving style to various activities, Hyundai provides three driving mode options: Eco, Normal, and Sport.
