KatadataOTO – Hyundai seems to be preparing a new product. The latest one being widely rumored is the Santa Fe facelift.

Citing a report from Autoblog on Wednesday (22/10), this sport utility vehicle (SUV) has undergone several changes. This is especially visible from the front and rear views.

"This updated model features slimmer headlights combined with redesigned LED daytime running lights (DRLs)," wrote the online media outlet.

It is mentioned that the DRLs of the Hyundai Santa Fe facelift stretch wider across the front fascia, giving a more luxurious look to the four-wheeled vehicle from Korea.

There are also DRLs placed horizontally on the left and right sides, making it look like the letter 'H' when combined with the stretching DRLs.

In addition, Hyundai has also redesigned the grille, making it smaller and simpler.

All the changes at the front make the Hyundai Santa Fe facelift look very different from the previous variant.

Moving to the rear, many changes are also visible. The 'H'-shaped stop lamps are no longer present on the Hyundai Santa Fe facelift.

Based on a post on Instagram @nymammoth, the taillights of this South Korean SUV have been made simpler.

The DRLs stretching from left to right can still be found. However, the stop lamps are placed on the side of the body.

Then there is still the Hyundai logo and a fairly large Santa Fe inscription on the tailgate.

Overall, the body of the Santa Fe facelift still maintains its sharp lines, but it has been made slightly simpler.

On the other hand, according to circulating rumors, the Hyundai Santa Fe Facelift has also received improvements to its transmission.

"This includes replacing the dual-clutch transmission with a smoother automatic transmission for the 2,500 cc turbo engine," Autoblog continued in a similar report.

With this refresh, owners are expected to be more comfortable driving the new Hyundai Santa Fe.

Unfortunately, there is no detailed information about the Hyundai Santa Fe facelift yet, including its specifications.

For context, in Indonesia, this SUV relies on a 1,600 cc Smartstream G1.6T-GDi HEV engine.

This mechanical heart is paired with a turbo hybrid system, producing a maximum power of 231.7 hp at 5,600 rpm.

Then there is also the Smartstream G 2,500 cc GDi powertrain which offers 191.3 hp at 6,100 rpm.

So, the arrival of the Hyundai Santa Fe facelift is worth waiting for, including whether or not it will enter Indonesia in the near future.
