Hyundai Santa Fe Hybrid has not yet received incentives from the government, but there are discounts available at IIMS 2025.
KatadataOTO – Hyundai Santa Fe Hybrid is not yet included in the hybrid car incentive program set by the government as of January 1, 2025. However, a number of attractive promos are being offered to consumers during the IIMS 2025 event.
One of them is a price discount from the salesperson if the consumer places an order at the exhibition.
“The discount is part of the (IIMS 2025) program, Rp 45 million. For 2025 models,” said a Hyundai salesperson when met by KatadataOTO at JIExpo Kemayoran, Thursday (20/2).
Not to be missed, other promos can be enjoyed during IIMS 2025, such as a lucky dip with instant prizes totaling Rp 1.5 billion, including e-money, shopping vouchers, and a Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra.
It should be noted that the Santa Fe Hybrid, which was launched late last year, is available in ICE and hybrid options. The price starts from Rp 700 million on the road in Jakarta.
Although it is already produced locally at the Hyundai factory in Cikarang, West Java, PT HMID (Hyundai Motors Indonesia) has not yet registered the model to receive the hybrid car incentive.
The likely reason is that its TKDN (Local Component Level) has not yet met the requirements.
The price of the Santa Fe Hybrid has the potential to decrease if it is included in the incentive program. This has already been implemented by Japanese manufacturers like Toyota, where the Kijang Innova Zenix saw a price reduction of Rp 10 million-Rp 13 million.
However, Hyundai explained that the majority of Santa Fe consumers do not place much importance on incentives or subsidies from the government when purchasing a vehicle.
If you are interested, here is a summary of the latest Santa Fe prices as of February 2025. The figures are on-the-road prices for Jakarta and are subject to change at any time.
