Hyundai Stargazer Cartenz Officially Debuts at GIIAS 2025

KatadataOTO – PT Hyundai Motors Indonesia (HMID) has finally officially unveiled the Hyundai Stargazer Cartenz and Stargazer Cartenz X for the Indonesian market at GIIAS 2025.

The model is an updated or facelifted version of the previous model. Its appearance is made more dashing and sporty with changes to the front and rear light designs.

“Today we are proud to introduce a product that we believe is a car for Indonesia,” said Ju Hun Lee, President Director of PT HMID in Tangerang, Wednesday (23/07).

The Stargazer Cartenz and Cartenz X have the same wheelbase of 2,780 mm. This is claimed to make the car's cabin more spacious and comfortable, in line with its purpose as a family car.

Speaking of the exterior, the appearance of the Stargazer Cartenz X is more dynamic with the presence of bridge-type roof rails.

Then, the lighting sector is modern, using LED Multi Focus Reflector Headlamps, LED DRLs, and an LED Rear Combination Lamp.

The interior of the Stargazer Cartenz looks elegant and is equipped with a number of modern features. 

In the center, there is a 10.25-inch Full Digital TFT LCD that can present complete vehicle information.

Then in the second row, customers can choose the Captain Seat option, which is more comfortable and facilitates passenger access to the third row of the car.

The Stargazer Cartenz X has more advantages such as Ventilated Seats, a Driver Power Seat, Paddle Shift, and Shift-by-Wire.

The entertainment sector is supported by a BOSE Premium Audio System with speakers in eight locations.

Moving to the powertrain, the Stargazer Cartenz is embedded with a Smartstream 1,500 MPI Inline 4 Cylinder DOHC engine, producing a maximum power of 115 ps (147.9 hp) and a peak torque of 143.8 Nm, delivered to the front wheels via an IVT transmission.
