KatadataOTO – PT HMID (Hyundai Motors Indonesia) is preparing several new models for consumers throughout 2025. One of them is believed to be the Hyundai Stargazer facelift.

Some time ago, it was discovered that six new types of the Stargazer were registered on the Samsat PKB page with the code Cartenz.

On Tuesday (06/05) night, a test unit suspected to be the Hyundai Stargazer facelift was seen again. This time, it was crossing the LRT Cikunir 1 area in Bekasi.

The entire exterior of the unit appeared to be covered in camouflage. However, the posture and shape of the front fender were clearly identical to the Hyundai Stargazer.

On the fascia, the headlight position appears to have changed from the previous version at a glance, located in the area that was previously the horizontal LED bar.

The grille design also seems to have changed. Although not very significant, it appears to be more minimalist.

The Hyundai Stargazer facelift seems to have added roof rails. On the model currently on the market, this component is absent.

The rear area of the car was covered, so the taillight design could not be seen clearly.

Previously, when confirmed, Hyundai was still reluctant to speak further about the possibility of the Stargazer facelift's arrival in the country. However, they did not deny that a dozen new cars are ready to be launched throughout 2025.

“We will see which ones are a priority to be introduced,” said Fransiscus Soerjopranoto, Chief Operating Officer of PT HMID in Jakarta some time ago.

On the same occasion, he emphasized that Hyundai's newest vehicle line will be prioritized for local assembly.

“We want the production to be local, in Indonesia. The factory capacity is still available,” Frans affirmed.

For your information, the MPV (Multi Purpose Vehicle) Hyundai Stargazer debuted at the IIMS (Indonesia International Motor Show) 2022 event.

The model has not received an exterior refresh since its debut. Its price is in the range of Rp 258 million to Rp 331.9 million.

Meanwhile, the NJKB (Motor Vehicle Sale Value) for the Stargazer facelift is recorded from Rp 182 million to Rp 221 million.

However, it should be noted that the listed figure is not the final selling price. Because it does not yet include other costs such as vehicle taxes.
