Hyundai Stargazer: IDR 50 Million Discount at GJAW 2025

KatadataOTO – PT Hyundai Motors Indonesia (HMID) is once again showcasing its Low Multi-Purpose Vehicle (LMPV) Hyundai Stargazer at the GJAW 2025 event.

The Hyundai Stargazer is an LMPV that, at its initial launch, was touted as a new competitor to the Toyota Avanza, Daihatsu Xenia, and Mitsubishi Xpander.

Currently, the Hyundai Stargazer is available in a new variant, the Cartenz. The previous variants are still offered but with several attractive promotions such as price discounts.

“The stock is running low. So if you want the old model, you should be quick,” said a Hyundai salesperson when contacted by KatadataOTO recently.

He further explained that the most noticeable difference between the Hyundai Stargazer and the Cartenz variant is in its exterior design. There are also additional driving features like Smart Cruise Control.

The exterior design of the Hyundai Stargazer Cartenz is made sportier. The shape of the headlights has become more boxy, and the grille is dominated by a black color.

“The discount can be up to IDR 50 million,” said the Hyundai salesperson.

The lowest variant of the Hyundai Stargazer is currently offered at IDR 258.2 million on the road in Jakarta. With that discount, the price drops to the low IDR 200 million range.

For your information, the Hyundai Stargazer is equipped with a 1,500 cc four-cylinder engine. This configuration is claimed to enable the car to produce 113 hp and a peak torque of 143.8 Nm.

This powertrain configuration is the same as the Hyundai Stargazer Cartenz. It is also available in manual or iVT automatic transmission options.

However, the exterior of the Hyundai Stargazer Cartenz appears more robust thanks to the inclusion of black-colored components on the exterior.

The old model of the Hyundai Stargazer can be seen directly at its booth during the GJAW 2025 event. Consumers can also enjoy the opportunity to test drive it in a special area provided by the organizers.
