KatadataOTO – The Venue is one of the compact SUV (Sport Utility Vehicle) products offered by Hyundai to consumers. The model is quite popular in India.

It turns out the Hyundai Venue will also be a new model introduced to the Indonesian public this year, specifically at the IIMS 2025 (Indonesia International Motor Show) event, held in mid-February.

This information was revealed by a Hyundai salesperson in the Mampang area via a TikTok account recently.

“Baby Palisade ready for IIMS,” wrote the Hyundai Mampang salesperson in a post containing footage of the Hyundai Venue's exterior, quoted on Monday (10/2).

Based on KatadataOTO's findings, the Hyundai Venue can now be ordered by interested prospective customers. The price is no more than IDR 400 million.

“The price range is from IDR 270 million to IDR 350 million. (The size) is smaller than the Creta,” said a Hyundai salesperson when contacted by KatadataOTO on Sunday (9/2).

In India, three variants are offered: a 1,200 cc gasoline engine type, a 1,000 Turbo, and a 1,500 cc diesel. However, for the Indonesian market, it is not yet known which variants will be offered to prospective customers.

In terms of design, the Hyundai Venue has a fascia similar to the second-generation Creta. But the rear actually has the characteristics of the newest Creta, equipped with an elongated LED on the tailgate.

However, in terms of size, its dimensions are smaller than the Creta with L x W x H at 3,995 mm x 1,770 mm x 1,617 mm and a wheelbase of 2,500 mm. In the same segment in Indonesia, the Venue will be a new competitor to the Honda WR-V and Toyota Raize.

For your information, PT HMID (Hyundai Motors Indonesia) has announced the presence of a new model at the IIMS 2025 exhibition. The Venue is suspected to be the strong candidate.

“We will launch at least one new car and display the entire vehicle lineup, including Hyundai N,” said Uria Simanjuntak, Head of Public Relations at PT HMID in Jakarta some time ago.
