The Isuzu Free Homecoming Program has returned with more participants than last year's event.

KatadataOTO – After receiving a positive response last year, the Isuzu Free Mudik #DitemaniYangSejalan program is being held again. Various improvements have been made to ensure the event can run better than before.
One of them is increasing the number of destination cities and the number of participants. Thus, more travelers can be accommodated.
“This is a form of special attention to truck, bus, or pickup drivers and motor vehicle mechanics who have been part of Isuzu's journey in Indonesia,” said Masayasu Hideshima, Vice President Director of PT Isuzu Astra Motor Indonesia (IAMI) (28/03).
In this program, IAMI is sending off at least 400 travelers. This number consists of 64 drivers, 44 mechanics, and 292 participants who are family members.
Thus, all family members can experience Eid together in their respective hometowns.
They are transported using 16 vehicle units prepared by Isuzu in collaboration with Trac. There are 8 units of Isuzu ELF NQR and 8 units of Isuzu ELF NLR.
The entire homecoming fleet has undergone a thorough check and is confirmed to be safe and ready to take the participants to their respective hometown destinations.
All participants will be taken to 30 cities via four routes. The following is a list of destination cities for the Isuzu Free Mudik #DitemaniYangSejalan.
Traffic Management in Place
The high number of vehicles operating during the Eid homecoming has forced the police to implement various traffic management schemes. One of them is the contraflow and one-way system on the Trans-Java toll road.
This policy is considered quite effective in reducing congestion, especially in several prone locations. In addition, a number of new toll road sections have also begun to be functionalized so that travelers can more easily find the best route.
