KatadataOTO – Isuzu showcased a number of its flagship environmentally friendly vehicles at the Japan Mobility Show 2025.

The product lineup includes the Erga EV electric bus and the Vertical Core Cycle Concept prototype, also known as VCCC, which was unveiled for the first time at the exhibition.

The theme is Move the World, Envision a Colorful Future. Not limited to commercial vehicles, the VCCC is presented as a flexible mobility solution for both people and cargo.

To make it easier for visitors, there are several interactive screens to see a demonstration of the VCCC concept car in operation on the road.

“We want to create new systems and forms that make many people work more efficiently,” said Shinsuke Minami, President and Representative Director COO of Isuzu Motors Limited in Japan, on Wednesday (29/10).

Also present was the latest version of the Isuzu Giga heavy-duty truck for logistics needs.

“For the first time in 10 years, the exterior has been redesigned and equipped with a number of capable safety features, prioritizing peace of mind and comfort,” said Minami.

In the area behind the booth, visitors can also see the multi-fuel engine concept developed by Isuzu.

The engine allows vehicle owners to use various types of fuel, including hydrogen and bioethanol.

“The Isuzu Group will continue to face various challenges. We look forward to working with you to move the world together,” said Minami.

For your information, the Japan Mobility Show is held from October 30 to November 9. Isuzu is presenting a number of its flagship lineups during the exhibition.

In addition to heavy vehicles, the Isuzu D-Max 2026, which has already debuted in Thailand, is also enlivening the booth as a showcase.

Although not sold in Japan, on that occasion, Isuzu revealed that the model has the potential to be brought to Indonesia to meet the increasingly capable needs of the mining sector.

UD Trucks, in collaboration with Isuzu, also brought heavy vehicles, one of which is the Quon at the very front of the booth.

It should be noted that in 2023, Isuzu and UD Trucks announced a joint venture for the development of the Giga and Quon, but specifically for the Japanese market only.

The entire vehicle lineup can be seen directly at the Isuzu booth during the Japan Mobility Show 2025 event.
