New Denza D9 Variant Introduced, Price Becomes More Affordable

Jaecoo Indonesia revealed the reason why the price of the J7 SHS has not yet been announced to consumers since its introduction at IIMS 2025.

KatadataOTO – The arrival of the Jaecoo J7 SHS is highly anticipated by many. Especially since the car has already been exhibited at the IIMS 2025 event.
Making automotive enthusiasts wait for the announcement of this Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV).
Jaecoo Indonesia has spoken out on the matter. The manufacturer from China claims to be finalizing various preparations.
"First, of course, because we are a completely new brand. So we need some warming up first," said Ryan Ferdiean Tirto, Head of Product for Jaecoo Indonesia in BSD, Tangerang today, Monday (30/06).
Furthermore, Ryan said that they want to better introduce the Super Hybrid System (SHS) to the public.
Therefore, they are reluctant to rush the announcement of the Jaecoo J7 SHS price in Indonesia.
"We want to see the extent of consumer awareness first. We will build it up first, and then launch," Ryan emphasized.
Nevertheless, Ryan confirmed that they will soon announce the price of this PHEV car.
So that consumers can purchase the Jaecoo J7 SHS in the near future.
"We will be launching soon. There will be more news later," Ryan concluded.
A similar sentiment was also expressed by Agustian Ferikles, Head of Sales for Jaecoo Indonesia.
According to Agustian, Jaecoo currently wants to ensure the readiness of its dealers in the country first.
He stated that he wants to provide the best for consumers in the country.
"Besides that, we are still trying to formulate the right price, just wait," said Agustian on a separate occasion.
On the other hand, Max Zhou, Country Director of Jaecoo Indonesia, stated that they have already received hundreds of Vehicle Order Letters (SPK), up to 600 units.
Jaecoo also offers an exclusive package to buyers, including a home charger, V2L adapter, and free insurance.
"Of which, approximately 500 units are for the J7 SHS. Then 100 units for the AWD model," said Max Zhou.
As a reminder, pre-orders for the Jaecoo J7 SHS have been open for some time.
Meanwhile, the pre-booking price offered for the Jaecoo J7 is Rp 549 million for the AWD variant. Then the SHS type is priced at Rp 599 million.
