Jetour X20e Price Range, Ready to Challenge Air ev at GIIAS 2025

KatadataOTO – Chinese automotive manufacturer, Jetour, is confirmed to be bringing a compact electric car that will be a new challenger to the Wuling Air ev in Indonesia.

Although Jetour has not yet confirmed, a salesperson revealed that the model in question is the Jetour X20e.

Unlike the Air ev, the Jetour X20e is a five-door electric car. However, it still has a 5-seater configuration.

This car has not yet been launched in the global market. Upon investigation, the Jetour X20e turns out to be a rebranding of the Chery QQ Domi, which is already sold in China.

“The price for the Jetour X20e will be announced at GIIAS (Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show) 2025. Ours has four doors, while the Air ev has two,” said a Jetour salesperson when contacted by KatadataOTO on Friday (18/07).

He further explained that the Jetour X20e might be offered for under IDR 250 million on the road in Jakarta.

For comparison, the current price of the Wuling Air ev ranges from IDR 180 million to IDR 252 million, depending on the variant.

It seems the Jetour X50e is still in the study phase for its launch. The brand, which is under the Chery group, has chosen to bring in a compact electric car for urban mobility.

For your information, the Jetour X20e will likely have technical specifications not much different from the Chery QQ Domi.

In terms of appearance, there are no significant changes. In China, it is sold for 59,900 yuan to 69,900 yuan, or around IDR 135.9 million to IDR 158.6 million when converted to rupiah.

This car is offered in several variants and two range options: 305 km and 405 km, based on the CLTC testing method.

In its home country, the Chery QQ Domi is a strong competitor to the BYD Seagull and Leapmotor T03, which are small electric cars.

If it comes to Indonesia, the compact electric car market will become even more crowded. This is because not only the Jetour X20e, but the BYD Seagull will also be present at GIIAS 2025 as the Atto 1.

However, in terms of price, it seems the BYD Atto 1 will be more expensive, as it is rumored to be offered starting from IDR 200 million.

The appearance of both the Jetour X20e and the BYD Atto 1 will be revealed to the public for the first time at the GIIAS 2025 event.
