KatadataOTO – The name Joko Widodo or Jokowi has recently been widely discussed. This comes after he was sued by a resident of Solo, Central Java.
Quoting the official website of the Surakarta District Court (PN) on Thursday (10/04), the former 7th President of Indonesia was sued by Aufaa Lugmana Re A.
In the lawsuit with case number 96/Pdt.G/2025/PN Skt, Jokowi was deemed to have defaulted on his obligations. Aufaa was disappointed because he could not buy the Esemka Bima.
Even though the four-wheeled vehicle made by PT Solo Manufaktur Kreasi was planned to be used for business activities.
However, Aufaa found it difficult to acquire this Solo-made vehicle. He even claimed to have visited the Esemka factory in Boyolali.
Aufaa was disappointed and is demanding Jokowi to provide compensation to him amounting to Rp 300 million.
Quoted from the official Esemka website, this commercial vehicle is sold in two variants. For example, the Bima 1.2 and Bima 1.3.
“The Esemka Bima 1.2 light truck is here to meet the needs of the Indonesian people for quality commercial transportation at an affordable price,” they wrote on the official website.
Looking at them, both products feature a design typical of a commercial vehicle. Equipped with a fairly large cargo bed at the back to transport goods.
Then, it is equipped with quite large headlights; for the Bima 1.2, they are shaped to enlarge upwards. Meanwhile, the Esemka Bima 1.3's are made slightly narrower.
It also features a grille painted in black, adding to the tough impression of the commercial vehicle.
