KatadataOTO – Lepas L8 will be the first product to hit the roads in Indonesia. Pre-orders for this 5-seater SUV will open at the GJAW 2025 event.

The Lepas brand adopts the Leopard Aesthetics philosophy, emphasizing an elegant design. This is evident in the L8's form, which features minimal sharp curves.

All components on the Lepas L8 emphasize the premium side of a vehicle. The car's character is designed for comfortable daily use, a quality inherent in the unit.

“Lepas is not only introducing a new brand, but also introducing the brand's character and commitment to consumers,” said Ricky He, Deputy Country Director of Lepas Indonesia in Jakarta (11/19).

Lepas itself is a combination of two words: Le for Leopard. And Pas from the word Passion.

Leopard symbolizes agility, strength, and elegance. While Passion represents the spirit of the driving experience.

The Lepas L8 comes to Indonesia as a premium yet functional car. On the exterior, the car's fascia is designed to give it an exotic value.

Such as the Leopard-Eye Headlights, semi-concealed Door Handles, and full LED Taillights.

Most interesting are the safety features offered. Because the Lepas L8 is equipped with the latest ADAS technology.

These are APA (Automated Parking Assist) and RPA (Remote Parking Assist). Both features allow the vehicle to park itself without driver assistance.

The innovations above are believed to be able to reduce driver stress levels when parking in tight spaces.

As a result, it can save time and allow for a more efficient journey.

As part of the Chery Group, however, it is said they will implement a different marketing strategy.

Moreover, Lepas has appointed Indonesia as its first market outside of China. This means the world's first right-hand drive Lepas will debut on Indonesian roads.

“The economic changes in Indonesia are very good. There are many young people here,” Ricky then explained.
