Lepas's second dealership in Indonesia has officially opened in Sunter, as part of its long-term commitment to the country.
KatadataOTO – Lepas opened its second dealership in Sunter, North Jakarta today. This move is a form of commitment from the Chery Group sub-brand in selling its vehicle lineup in Indonesia.
For your information, Indonesia was chosen by the Chery Group as the birthplace of the Lepas dealership.
The first Lepas dealership was previously opened earlier this week, located in Kelapa Gading.
“The opening of the Lepas Sunter dealership strengthens our commitment to supporting Lepas's journey in Indonesia,” said Ricky He, Deputy Director of the Lepas Business Unit in Sunter, on Thursday (22/01).
He emphasized that Lepas has paid attention to every detail of the showroom, from facilities to interactive after-sales services.
The hope is that every customer can experience comfortable, transparent, and professional service at the Lepas dealership.
“Through the Lepas Sunter showroom, we want to demonstrate that Lepas has a long-term commitment. It's not just about the product but about building a sustainable relationship with consumers,” said Ricky.
Interestingly, the Lepas dealership is equipped with facilities claimed to be different from most other competitor outlets in the segment. One of them is a special nail art room for women.
Indeed, Lepas itself offers elegant products that seem to target women in urban areas.
The presence of a room offering nail art facilities is hoped to add to the comfort of customers when visiting the Lepas dealership.
“If they (female customers) are waiting at the workshop, they usually just look at their phones. Here (at the Lepas dealership) they can get their nails done. As far as I know, no other brand's showroom has this,” said Junianto Naibaho, Chief Executive Officer of Lepas SM Group on the same occasion.
Speaking of the outlet, Junianto revealed that the Lepas Sunter dealership has a land area of 1,738 m2.
Besides offering a spacious showroom to display the Lepas L8 car, its service area is equipped with four service bays.
“If one bay's productivity is (approximately) 10 units per day, just multiply that by four and the number of our operational days,” said Junianto.
Throughout 2026, Lepas has a target to establish at least 40 dealerships in various regions of Indonesia to reach more consumers.
