KatadataOTO – The impact of the 12 percent VAT implementation by President Prabowo Subianto's administration seems to be starting to be felt. Especially in the automotive industry sector in Indonesia.

This is because the price of LCGC (Low Cost Green Car) vehicles was observed to start increasing in mid-January 2025.

Just a week ago, Toyota, Daihatsu, and Honda had not yet raised the prices of their products.

However, now all have seen an increase. Quoting the official Daihatsu website on Monday (13/1), the Ayla 1.0 M MT is sold for Rp 138.5 million in Jakarta.
