Leaked Design of the Alleged Hyundai Stargazer Cartenz Car

KatadataOTO – PT HMID (Hyundai Motors Indonesia) is reportedly preparing a new product for Indonesian consumers. Recently, a leak of the related model was published through their official social media account.

The exterior design silhouette of the car suspected to be the Hyundai Stargazer Cartenz was revealed on Friday (04/07).

“A car that understands the twists and turns of Indonesian roads,” wrote the @hyundaimotorindonesia account, quoted on Saturday (05/07).

The post is a strong signal that the new model from the South Korean manufacturer is the LMPV (Low Multi Purpose Vehicle) Hyundai Stargazer Cartenz.

The Hyundai Stargazer has previously been marketed in Indonesia. The Stargazer X variant comes with a sportier look.

This time, PT HMID is believed to be introducing a Stargazer facelift. Referring to information on the Samsat PKB page, the new version will adopt the name Cartenz.

The previous model was sold at a price range of Rp 271.5 million to Rp 331.9 million OTR (on the road) Jakarta. The price of the Stargazer Cartenz is not expected to be much different.

It is recorded there that the NJKB (Motor Vehicle Sale Value) range for the Hyundai Stargazer Cartenz is from Rp 174 million to Rp 221 million. This figure does not include other costs such as taxes.

Judging from the silhouette in Hyundai Indonesia's post, the new identity of Hyundai cars, namely the lights that seem to form the letter H, is embedded in the Stargazer Cartenz.

The rear lights have also been changed, adopting a shape similar to the front.

At a glance, the fascia of the Hyundai Stargazer Cartenz resembles the Santa Fe hybrid car.

The overall shape or design of the car does not seem to have changed much. However, there appears to be an addition of black roof rails, making the Stargazer Cartenz look sporty.

Since it is a facelift or a refresh, there will likely be no significant changes to the engine.

The model suspected to be the Stargazer Cartenz will most likely still use a 1,500 cc engine. Power is channeled through a manual or an IVT automatic transmission.

It is not yet known whether the Stargazer X will also receive an update or if its sales will be discontinued.

Furthermore, there is no further information from Hyundai regarding when the Stargazer Cartenz will be launched for Indonesian consumers.
