The Hyundai Stargazer facelift, registered under the type name Cartenz, receives several changes; here are the leaks.
KatadataOTO – PT HMID (Hyundai Motors Indonesia) is preparing one of its new products for the domestic market, strongly believed to be the Stargazer facelift.
Several times, the car suspected to be the new version of the Stargazer has been seen road-tested in the Jakarta and Bekasi areas, but wrapped in camouflage stickers and covers.
Hyundai is still reluctant to reveal when the Hyundai Stargazer facelift will be launched.
Upon investigation, Hyundai salespeople have not yet opened orders. However, they claim the model will indeed be introduced in the near future.
“The Stargazer facelift will be launched later. The (price) will definitely be different (from the previous version),” said a Hyundai salesperson when contacted by KatadataOTO on Thursday (08/05).
There is no detailed information about the price yet. But it is likely not to be too different, in the range of Rp 200 million to over Rp 300 million.
There will be design changes to the exterior, similar to what Hyundai gave the Creta facelift.
On the Creta facelift, the DRL (Daytime Running Light) is integrated with the LED bar. The previous model did not feature an LED bar.
The Stargazer will also likely get changes to its fascia. Referring to the road test unit in the Bekasi area, the grille design is dominated by horizontal lines like on the latest Creta.
Then, the headlight position is made integrated and parallel with the LED bar, more or less its shape will be similar to the Creta facelift. Interestingly, the salesperson revealed that there are additional features included.
“The difference is in the LKA (Lane Keep Assist), and the Cruise Control is now adaptive,” he revealed.
There is a high chance the Hyundai Stargazer facelift will launch at GIIAS (Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show) 2025. The model, registered with the variant name Cartenz, will add to the MPV (Multi Purpose Vehicle) choices in Indonesia.
For your information, the Hyundai Stargazer just received a feature refresh at IIMS (Indonesia International Motor Show) 2025. The Essential Tech type was given Bluelink connectivity.
There are four variants offered to consumers. The Active variant is sold for Rp 258.2 million for the manual transmission, while the IVT is Rp 271.5 million.
The highest Prime type is only available with the IVT automatic transmission option. The price is Rp 331.9 million on the road in Jakarta.
