Viral on social media, Suzuki is bringing one of its legendary MPVs, the APV, to the IIMS 2025 automotive exhibition.
KatadataOTO – One of Suzuki's flagship MPV (Multi Purpose Vehicle) models, the APV, is present to liven up the IIMS 2025 (Indonesia International Motor Show) exhibition. This is interesting because this model has never been brought before.
This raises questions from various parties regarding the future of the APV in the country. To date, no significant updates have been given, especially in the exterior sector.
From time to time, the body design to the front fascia has carried the same identity. When asked about the future of the APV, Suzuki explained that the model is in high demand for fleet needs.
“The APV is indeed segmented for corporate clients. So far, from several research and discussions with our corporate clients, they say the current features are no problem and can still accommodate functional interests,” said Harold Donnel, 4W Marketing Director of PT SIS at JIExpo Kemayoran, Sunday (16/2).
According to him, the presence of the APV is different from other family cars offered by Suzuki, such as the Ertiga. Therefore, not much development has been done on the APV.
Regarding sales, Suzuki is still calculating and will reveal the number of APV orders on the last day of the IIMS 2025 exhibition.
“But the enthusiasm is quite positive, we have learned a lot. Some of our consumers have interacted with the sales team (regarding the APV),” said Harold.
For your information, the tall MPV APV has not received an update or a new generation and has now reached 21 years of age.
Starting as a family car, Suzuki has instead focused the APV on the needs of fleet consumers. Thus, its interior features and exterior design have not changed much and still seem outdated.
The second row is made elegant using captain-style seats complete with armrests. The third-row seats are also equipped with armrests to increase passenger comfort during the journey.
The unit displayed at IIMS 2025 is the highest APV Arena type, the SGX, with a price tag of Rp 250.2 million on the road in Jakarta.
Here we summarize the latest price list for the Suzuki APV Arena as of February 2025. Prices are subject to change at any time without notice, depending on company policy.
