Mercedes-Maybach EQS 680 Electric SUV: Tempting Indonesia's Ultra-Rich

KatadataOTO – Mercedes-Benz Indonesia has completed its luxury car portfolio in the country by bringing in the Mercedes-Maybach EQS 680 SUV.

This Sport Utility Vehicle is fully electric, combining luxury with lower carbon emissions, making it more environmentally friendly.

The presence of the Mercedes-Maybach EQS 680 SUV is one form of commitment from this German manufacturer to adapt to the luxury vehicle segment and the era of electrification.

In terms of design, the Mercedes-Maybach 680 SUV maintains a luxurious feel and the iconic Maybach look.

On the front, a chrome-plated grille is visible, paired with an LED bar right above it, followed by the Mercedes-Benz emblem in the center of the car's hood.

Not just at the front, the elegant and luxurious character continues to the side of the Mercedes-Maybach EQS 680 SUV.

The rims use an exclusive design with size options from 21 inches to 22 inches, featuring the Maybach lettering. The standard embedded footstep can light up in the dark, making it look even more modern.

The Mercedes-Maybach EQS 680 SUV is available in two-tone color options with combinations of high-tech silver-nautical blue, high-tech silver-obsidian black, obsidian black-selenite grey, obsidian black-manufaktur kalahari gold, and velvet brown-onyx black.

The cabin is also designed to look luxurious and be comfortable for passengers. The flagship MBUX Hyperscreen feature and the signature Maybach start-up animation can be seen here.

The seats use exclusive nappa leather material in espresso brown and balao brown pearl colors. However, other combinations are also available, such as macchiato beige-bronze brown pearl.

Comfort is also supported by Energizing Air Control Plus with a High Efficiency Particulate Air (HEPA) filter, ensuring the cabin air remains clean and fresh.

The special driving system of the Mercedes-Maybach EQS 680 SUV is supported by Airmatic air suspension and damping.

Not to be missed is the rear-axle steering feature, which allows the rear wheels to turn up to 10 degrees to optimize the car's maneuverability.

Now available for order, the price of the Mercedes-Maybach EQS 680 SUV is IDR 7.65 billion. This figure is off-the-road and does not include taxes.
