KatadataOTO – PT Mitsubishi Motors Krama Yudha Sales Indonesia (MMKSI) is holding the Sky Explorer campaign for its newest product, the Destinator. In this program, they are collaborating with two partners, namely Garuda Indonesia and Tahilalats.
This collaboration is claimed to be in line with the concept of the Mitsubishi Destinator, which aims to make it easier for its users to reach their destinations.
“Mitsubishi Motors and Garuda Indonesia have similarities in their consumer profiles, especially in terms of lifestyle and youthful spirit. Meanwhile, the presence of Tahilalats can convey the brand's message in an attractive and relevant way for the current generation,” said Atsushi Kurita, President Director of PT MMKSI.
This collaboration will be present in various lines from July to December 2025, including branding on Garuda Indonesia flights.
One of the aircraft will later use headrest covers and paper cups with the Sky Explorer livery. Then, special edition boarding pass sleeves and luggage tags will be available for other selected flights.
The Mitsubishi Destinator will also be featured on the entertainment screens across the entire Garuda Indonesia flight network.
The car will also be featured in a booklet designed by Tahilalats, distributed on the Sky Explorer aircraft, in the Garuda Indonesia lounge at Terminal 3 of Soekarno-Hatta, and throughout the MMKSI dealer network.
Furthermore, Mitsubishi, Garuda Indonesia, and Tahilalats will also share 1 animated video and 2 digital comics with a travel and destination theme on social media.
It was previously reported that the Mitsubishi Destinator is officially sold in Indonesia in three variants: GLS, Exceed, and Ultimate. As an SUV, the car comes with exterior touches that give a tough impression.
Inside the cabin, the Mitsubishi comes with a 12.3-inch screen supported by Dynamic Sound Yamaha Premium.
The Mitsubishi Destinator is equipped with a 1.5L turbocharged engine paired with a CVT transmission.
The combination above is believed to be able to provide a pleasant driving sensation while remaining fuel-efficient.
The car is also equipped with Mitsubishi Motors Safety Sensing, which includes the latest features such as ACC (Adaptive Cruise Control), FCM (Forward Collision Mitigation System), BSW (Blind Spot Warning), Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA), Automatic High Beam (AHB), Leading Car Departure Notification (LCDN), and Multi Around Monitor.
