KatadataOTO – Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2025 is not just being used by manufacturers to market new cars.
However, a number of manufacturers also announced strategies to attract consumers. As was recently done by Indomobil Energi Baru (IEB) as the brand holder agent for Maxus in Indonesia.
At GIIAS 2025 at ICE BSD, they officially lowered the prices of the Maxus Mifa 9 and 7 electric cars.
This is because the Maxus Mifa 7 and 9 are claimed to have been produced locally using the Completely Knocked Down (CKD) scheme since June 2025.
Now, both Electric Vehicles (EVs) are produced at Indomobil's assembly facility in Purwakarta, West Java.
"The Mifa 9 and 7 are more than just electric MPVs, now with more attractive prices to be more accessible to the general public," opened Yudhy Tan, Chief Operating Officer (COO) of IEB at GIIAS 2025.
Yudhy believes that by starting the production of Maxus electric cars in Purwakarta, they can further reduce the product's price tag.
This way, it is hoped that more people will want to use the Chinese-made EV for their daily needs.
"This car can be a solution for those who want to unite their career and family life," Yudhy continued.
He claims that with the price reduction of the Maxus Mifa 7 and 9, nothing has to be sacrificed.
This includes aspects like quality, features, and the technology offered. So it can pamper the owners of their products.
For your information, the Maxus Mifa 9 was previously sold for Rp 1.099 billion. However, at GIIAS 2025, it is now only Rp 888 million.
Next, the price tag for the Maxus Mifa 7 was Rp 799 million. Now, visitors to GIIAS 2025 can purchase the EV for Rp 750 million.
On the other hand, Maxus also introduced the Mifa 9 Lombardi edition with modifications to the interior and exterior.
This Lombardi edition features a more luxurious upgraded interior, complete with a partition. The purpose is to separate the driver's cabin from the passenger's.
The exterior also gets a two-tone paint job, making it look more exclusive.
For all the upgrades in this Lombardi edition, Maxus Indonesia is offering the Mifa 9 with a price tag of Rp 1.099 billion On The Road (OTR) Jakarta.
