KatadataOTO – Despite competition from Chinese manufacturers, Volkswagen Indonesia reveals that sales of their electric cars remain positive. The German manufacturer stated that hundreds of units of the ID Buzz have been sold in the country.

The high sales figures were even evident from the initial launch, which received a positive response from customers.

“ID Buzz sales in Indonesia have reached hundreds of units. VW consumers in Indonesia are indeed very unique, and they are very fanatical about our products,” said Andrew Nasuri, Director of Indomobil Group, some time ago.

Based on Gaikindo data, wholesales of the Volkswagen ID Buzz from January to September 2025 have reached 137 units. May was the largest contributor with 55 units shipped from the factory to dealers.
