KatadataOTO – Suzuki Carry has received a refresh in its home country, Japan. This model, known for commercial use, gets a personal touch, making it look unique.

Several changes have been made to the Japan Domestic Market or JDM version of the Suzuki Carry. For example, the front-end design, the interior, and the inclusion of more capable safety features.

Quoted from the official Suzuki Japan website on Tuesday (11/11), there is a special edition, the Super Carry Special Edition X Limited, based on the Suzuki Super Carry.

Visually, the Super Carry Special Edition X Limited looks more rugged thanks to the addition of a black front bumper and fog lamp bezels.

In addition to the all-black components, a special decal has been added to the vehicle's door area, differentiating it from the standard Suzuki Carry version.

Then, several Suzuki Carry variants in the Japanese market get a four-wheel drive (4WD) option.

In detail, the updates on the latest Suzuki Carry include electric mirrors, a piano black instrument panel, and the addition of both USB Type-A and Type-C charging sockets.

Bright color options like green, blue, and yellow are one of the attractions of the Suzuki Carry. This is different from the units commonly found in Indonesia, such as black and white.

On several variants like the KC, the Suzuki Carry is equipped with SRS airbags for both the driver and passenger seats.

Then, its features include Power Door Lock, Idling Stop System, Power Windows, and Mud Escape Assistance.

Speaking of safety features, the new Suzuki Carry already has Lane Departure Prevention, Emergency Stop Signal, Start Notification Function, Sign Recognition Function, and Parking Sensors.

There are also Dual Sensor Brake Support and Low-speed Forward Brake Support, adding to the driver's comfort and safety when driving the Suzuki Carry.

The Suzuki Carry is available in manual and automatic transmission options. The price ranges from 1,295,800 yen to 1,465,200 yen and up.

Therefore, in Japan, the Suzuki Carry falls into the kei truck category for commercial needs and daily mobility.
