Suzuki Ertiga to Get a Refresh Soon, Prepare Your Wallets

KatadataOTO – The name Suzuki Ertiga Hybrid has barely been heard. It's even being overshadowed by its sibling, the XL7 Hybrid.

Forcing Suzuki Indomobil Sales (SIS) to find a way to boost the four-wheeled vehicle's prestige.

“We are seeing a shift from Ertiga Hybrid users to the XL7 Hybrid, because the price difference is not too significant,” said Dony Ismi Saputra, 4W Deputy Managing Director of SIS in East Jakarta last week.

Dony stated that they are currently finalizing plans to give the Suzuki Ertiga Hybrid a refresh.

This is deemed necessary to once again entice domestic consumers. So that the hybrid four-wheeled vehicle becomes popular again.

“We cannot ignore such a tendency. In the near future, we will definitely carry out a refresh (for the Suzuki Ertiga Hybrid),” he continued.

However, Dony was still unwilling to provide detailed information about the refresh for the Suzuki Ertiga Hybrid.

But some time ago, Maruti Suzuki introduced a facelifted Ertiga Hybrid in India without any ceremony.

There are several exterior parts that have been changed to give it a fresher look. For example, the dimensions have been made longer.

Previously, it had a length of 4,395 mm, a width of 1,735 mm, and a height of 1,690 mm, the same as the specifications in Indonesia.

Meanwhile, the new Suzuki Ertiga Hybrid has a length of 4,435 mm. This is visible from the widened D-pillar size.

This touch makes the third-row cabin more spacious. Allowing the owner to carry more items.

Additionally, the new Suzuki Ertiga Hybrid's spoiler appears more elegant, equipped with black accents on the curve at the bottom.

The spoiler then became a standard component installed on all Suzuki Ertiga variants.
