KatadataOTO – Not only does it offer an attractive design, the Suzuki Fronx is also equipped with various advantages to attract customers. One of its mainstays is the comprehensive safety features to prevent accidents.

Thus, it is hoped that customers can be more confident when driving in various conditions.

“We divide the safety features on the Suzuki Fronx into three categories: Basic Safety Technology, Suzuki Safety Support, and Collision Safety Technology. All three have different benefits to protect the driver and passengers,” said Harold Donnel as the 4W Marketing & Business Strategy Director of PT Suzuki Indomobil Sales.

For Basic Safety Technology, Suzuki has designed the Suzuki Fronx to have a wide field of view, a comfortable driving position, and ergonomic and easy-to-operate feature button placement.

Meanwhile, Suzuki Safety Support comes with 12 main features, namely Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Keeping Assist, Dual Sensor Brake Support, Head Up Display, Lane Departure Prevention, Lane Departure Warning, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, 360 Degree View Camera, Vehicle Swing Warning, Blind Spot Monitor, High Beam Assist, and Parking Sensor.

“Of these 12 features, Adaptive Cruise Control is one of the most interesting. This feature uses radar combined with a front camera to detect other vehicles ahead when driving on the highway,” said Harold.

Thanks to this, the car will accelerate or decelerate according to the previously set speed. The distance between vehicles will also be maintained according to the initial settings.

Additionally, there is also Lane Departure Warning, which alerts the driver if the car crosses the road markings. The notification comes in the form of a light, an alarm, or a vibration on the steering wheel to increase driver awareness.

As for Collision Safety Technology, Suzuki has embedded various passive safety features, ranging from Isofix, Side Impact Beam, TECT Body, to 6 airbags in all variants.

“The safety features on the Suzuki Fronx aim to help the driver drive better while reducing the risk of accidents. But the most important things are the driving technique and the driver's own awareness, so it is advised to always be careful on the road,” concluded Harold.
