Suzuki Fronx Sales Reached 1,000 Units in July 2025

KatadataOTO – PT Suzuki Indomobil Sales (SIS) has recorded positive results for the sales of the Suzuki Fronx in Indonesia. Their newest model is said to contribute 28 percent of its total sales.

Referring to data from the Association of Indonesia Automotive Industries (Gaikindo), Suzuki's retail sales (distribution from dealers to consumers) in July 2025 were 5,504 units.

This means Suzuki Fronx sales this month are around 1,101 units. From that figure, PT SIS highlighted that 89 percent or 980 units were the hybrid variant.

“Suzuki's retail sales achievement last July is tangible proof of our targeted product strategy and courage in presenting innovation,” said Randy R. Murdoko, Department Head 4W Sales at PT SIS in an official broadcast, quoted Tuesday (19/08).

He emphasized that the Suzuki Fronx has proven it can capitalize on this positive momentum to continue into 2025.

Previously at the GIIAS 2025 event, the Suzuki Fronx was also mentioned as a contributor to orders with a total of 38 percent.

However, there is no official information from PT SIS regarding the total number of Vehicle Order Letters (SPK) for Suzuki at GIIAS 2025.

It is known that Suzuki set a target of securing at least 2,400 SPK during the 10-day exhibition.

The latest information indicates that the Suzuki Fronx and XL7 contributed 60 percent of all Suzuki SPK towards the end of the first weekend of GIIAS 2025.

According to a Suzuki representative, the XL7 is still one of the choices because it falls into a segment that is quite popular with the public, namely the Low Sport Utility Vehicle (LSUV).

“This influences the public's perception that SUVs are a model that is indeed contemporary or worth buying right now. If we look back at 2010, it was different, more towards LMPVs during their heyday,” said Harold Donnel, 4W Marketing Director of PT SIS on a separate occasion some time ago.
