Top 5 Best-Selling LCGC Cars in July 2025: Sigra and Calya Battle It Out

KatadataOTO – Daihatsu Sigra continues to show its existence in the Indonesian market. This is evident from the factory-to-dealer shipment figures (wholesales).

According to data from the Association of Indonesia Automotive Industries (Gaikindo) on Tuesday (12/08), 2,951 units of the Sigra were distributed throughout July 2025.

This figure is a slight increase compared to the June 2025 total, which recorded 2,742 units.

For your information, Astra Daihatsu Motor (ADM) just gave the Sigra a refresh during GIIAS 2025 at ICE BSD, Tangerang.

The update was not applied to all variants, but only to the Daihatsu Sigra 1.2R Deluxe.

Now, the four-wheeled vehicle is sportier and more exclusive for consumers in the country. This boosts the owners' confidence.

The most noticeable refresh on the Daihatsu Sigra is in its appearance, especially the front of the vehicle.

The front bumper design features a connecting line between the fog lamp covers, making it look more assertive.

There is also an additional bezel on the rear bumper of the Daihatsu Sigra, giving it a fresh and dynamic impression.

Through these changes, Daihatsu hopes their LCGC car will be even better received by consumers in the country, thus increasing its dominance in the domestic four-wheeled vehicle market.

On the other hand, the Toyota Calya also joined the list of best-selling LCGC cars in July 2025. The four-wheeled vehicle was in second place with 2,525 units.

Meanwhile, wholesales of the Honda Brio Satya also dropped to 1,977 units. However, this is considered normal.
