KatadataOTO – Coinciding with the Japan Mobility Show (JMS) 2025, Toyota has officially confirmed that Century will become a sub-brand like Lexus. And it is immediately positioned to target the luxury car market currently filled by legendary big names like Rolls-Royce and Bentley.

Akio Toyoda, the big boss of Toyota himself, asserted that Century is at the pinnacle of cars in its own class. And many hopes will be carried with it, especially carrying the high spirit and philosophy of Toyota, meaning Century will be developed to become Japan's pride to the whole world.

In fact, news of the emergence of one of the Century line-ups through a Coupe model appeared a few weeks ago. Its design generally refers to luxurious styles, especially like Bentley models.

The Century Coupe is a two-door car and although it has very large dimensions, it can certainly only accommodate two passengers. Another interesting aspect is the bright orange paint job, which is said to consist of 60 layers.

Unfortunately, when KatadataOTO witnessed the appearance of the Century Coupe at JMS 2025, the interior space could not be seen at all. And indeed, as of this writing, Toyota is still silent about many important details, including when this car will be marketed and which countries are its target markets.

Leaked details about the interior mention a charming design between the driver and passenger seats, wrapped in captivating materials. Additionally, there is a futuristic steering wheel model plus a digital instrument cluster. There is also a classy analog clock in the center of the dashboard.

Along with the Coupe model, Century also presents 4 models. Starting from two updated Toyota Century sedans, a Century SUV, and a new sedan version with the GR brand.

Once again, with the appearance of all these models at JMS 2025, it confirms Toyota's seriousness through Century to focus and seriously penetrate the premium market by challenging the legends.
