KatadataOTO – It seems Toyota will not just launch one car at the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2025. Several salespeople have already started offering some new products planned to be sold at the event.

One of them is the Toyota Corolla Altis Hybrid GR Sport, which the company will reportedly bring.

“At GIIAS 2025, the Toyota Corolla Altis Hybrid GR Sport will be launched. So, compared to the standard version, there will be additional accessories, especially on the exterior,” he revealed to KatadataOTO (17/07).

In Thailand, this car is actually already on sale and comes with a more aggressive design. On the front, for example, the Toyota Corolla Altis GR Sport uses a sharp grille and a large air intake.

Moving to the side, its appearance is made more aggressive with the use of 17-inch black wheels. Meanwhile, the rear gets a new spoiler and LED taillights.

Inside the cabin, the Toyota Corolla Altis GR Sport in Thailand has received several upgrades. One of them is the use of red stitching to give it a sporty feel.

For entertainment, Toyota has equipped it with a 9-inch head unit and a 12.3-inch instrument screen. The car is also fitted with a head-up display.

The Toyota Corolla Altis Hybrid uses a 1,798 cc gasoline engine. The power produced by this engine is 121 hp at 5,200 rpm and 141.9 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm.

However, the battery has been upgraded, now using a 4 Ah lithium-ion unit. With this, it is expected that its fuel consumption will be more optimal than the standard version.

Unfortunately, he did not disclose the price of the model. He only emphasized that the price tag would not be much different from the standard version.

However, as a reference, the Toyota Corolla Altis GR Sport in Thailand is priced at 1.129 million Baht or around IDR 567.6 million.

However, if it enters Indonesia, the value will certainly be different. This is because the Toyota Corolla Altis Hybrid is currently sold for between IDR 637.5 million and IDR 640.6 million.
